Sisters Gail Asbell and Charelle Cuolahan began Upstate with an infectiously positive and energetic vision. From Victoria's Surf Coast to its cities, Upstate continues to grow and always delivers.
Our close working relationship with the Upstate team is a joy. It's a great partnership of ongoing shared enthusiasm and development. Fresh and fun interiors with vibrant graphic direction that include joinery, metal, neon and broad swathes of Upstate's signature yellow create highly energetic and engaging spaces.
Studios are a contrast of peaceful and light-filled yoga, more energised and sporty pilates rooms and the darker, dramatic boxing studios.
In each location, careful attention is paid to retaining period and architectural features such as natural exposed brickwork, bluestone and original ceiling beams.
Fresh, welcoming and very positive, each studio is custom designed around site and location to reflect the approachable and friendly energy that Upstate always delivers.
