Tasked with naming and packaging, we were never going to pass up the simple and iconic 'shokupan.au'. The pillowy forms of GrilliType's GT Maru are a perfect expression of the word and combine gloriously with a gorgeous 'Bread Chef' character who slots into this vernacular with so much enthusiasm it almost hurts.
Our Shokupan package is a custom window-faced recyclable bag that is sits somewhere between humorous Japanese supermarket packaging and a more elegant bakery take-away.
Perfect for those days when nothing sounds better than a home made Katsu sando.
