Drawing inspiration from Alex Stitt's classic Australian “Life, be in it.” and “Slip, Slop, Slap.” campaigns, Grumpy is like a hastily scratched doodle on the back of an envelope during your second hour on hold to Telstra.
The colours are slightly annoyed versions of themselves. Washed out grey, sunburn, feeling a little off. You get the picture.
We combine these elements with the most “Stock Photography” that photography has to offer. Everything is monotone and shot with flat light. It’s banal and infuriating — I mean, look at how disappointed they are. Somebody needs a coffee.
Some days aren't shiny or perfect and that's okay. Grumpy is here to turn that frown upside down.
