An identity inspired by a mix of our uniquely Australian pub history combined with notions of Japanese purpose and simplicity.
As of the Australian International Beer Awards trophy two years running for Best Design and many individual Gold Medals for can and carton artwork, we’re extremely proud of the CBCo range.
The range eschews detail in favour of utility, it's a down-to-earth language of typographic hierarchy and bright singular colours. There's a wealth of history being drawn upon from painted signage on the street facing walls of mining town Hotels to the suburban photography of Rennie Ellis.
Our thoughts of honest Australian beer were refined against examples of Japanese design with the intent to focus upon finding beauty in the clarity of execution.
