Techné Architecture initially commissioned Alter to create a new website. This eventually became an entire new identity.
The brief for the website centered around a colourful navigational system highlighting work in various sectors and the display of large project images. The result is demonstrably more than a brochure site, it is a practical folio portal and provides many insights for prospective clients.
As the project continued, we developed a Journal section devoted to consolidating various sources of information about the practice, social media, press articles, recent projects, awards and more. It’s a blast. Have a look: techne.com.au.
The new Techné identity hinges upon accent. It restores the original accent on the word and uses this line motif more widely to represent and encourage creative process. Titles or notes may be handwritten on elements of collateral. We also created stamps to further facilitate the use of the system across other collateral items.
